End of the Semester Misc.

03.01.2012  to  03.15.2012

Welcome to a pictorial hodge-podge of the last 2 weeks of school.

On our way to one of our favorite restaurants

Girls horsing around on the last day of class.  It was so funny I had to allow it.

This is Bam or Victoria (her chosen English name.)  Despite her low level of English he loves hanging out with the foreign teachers and started calling me "mum", Brandon "dad", Kathleen "big sister", and Andy "big brother."  It's really endearing, if a bit crazy.

We have a few different dogs that roam around campus.  This lovely lady, that I have named Buttercup, is especially sweet and sometimes really funny.  Here's a montage of a swim she took on a rather hot day.

Some kind of sweet and salty Thai drink with bits of sourish fruit floating in it.  Not a fan.

Our last tutoring session with the kids ended with a fabulous home-style Thai BBQ.

A farewell afternoon with our Chinese teacher friends before they left to go back home.

Corrin and I

Toon and Pancate

At a coffee shop up the street from the school

Winny and Ong happen to show up to the same coffee shop

Squeezing 3 on our motorbike for the short ride back to campus.  Corrin is actually doing a peace sign but her index finger was cut out of the shot.  Gotta love the result.

Entrance to our school.

A few snaps from yet another trip to BKK.

We love BTS!

Bam is in the office again and when she is it's hard to get any work done.

Anyone like my Bunnicula-jackalope shirt?

A trip to building 1 to check on the kittens.  Commence SUPERCUTE!

Proud mother

I think I know who the teacher's pet is...

Way Cafe with Sai

Kathleen took a shot of sugar-water because I dared her to.  Yep, still up to my old tricks.

After 7 awesome years running together, it was time to retire some old friends.  I love you 80's Reeboks!

After 16 weeks of being tortured at the hands of grubby students and thrown around countless classrooms, Mister takes a deserving bubble bath.

All clean!

The last few days of work the grades were already in and we had basically nothing to do.  Time to teach Muay the game, "hot hands"!

Kathleen and I made some pretty bad ass scrapbooks

Cute as a button!
