Ayutthaya part II

08.02.2012 (still)

At this point I don't even know what wat is what!

Candle ritual for Buddhist lent

This temple housed a 17 meter tall Buddha.  Thais are certainly not subtle about their religious practices!

We visited a toy museum in the afternoon.  Here's a vintage pedal scooter for kids!

I apologize for including this.  It was so sincerely creepy I couldn't help but share!

Riverside dinner.  We had some wild boar soup and fried duck with vegetables - surprisingly one of the worst meals I've had in Thailand so far!  I'm not going to go into detail.

Mandatory day in Bangkok on the way home!

Jatujak market - this must have been the official crocodile hide store.

Saxophone club by Victory Monument for some great live jazz!  Thanks for the tip, Ben.

Great way to wrap up a fabulous weekend!
