Due to persistent flooding around Thailand, school was set to start on the 15th rather than on the 7th. Noting this haphazard paid vacation, we decide to take a little trip starting with a 6 hour train ride from Hua Hin to Surat Thani.

We find our hotel and decide to Songtel it to the other side of the island to check out one of the two main beaches: Chaweng.
